Nestled in the picturesque village of Pomonal, just 10 minutes from Halls Gap and the stunning Grampians National Park, Pomonal Estate is a family-owned Winery, Microbrewery, and Cider House offering exceptional regional wines, small-batch craft beers, ciders, and delicious food in their welcoming restaurant. Now complimented by brand-new luxury self-contained villas, Pomonal Estate is the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway.

Our Story

Owners Adam and Pep’s journey began in 2014, driven by their shared passion for creating beautiful wines and craft beverages. After exploring over 23 wineries and businesses across Victoria and New South Wales, they found the perfect place to bring their dream to life.

Starting small, Pep, with 25 years in the wine industry, showcased their first wines and beers at the Pomonal Market, while Adam began experimenting with brewing. Together, they employed local talent to build their Cellar Door, using recycled and locally sourced materials to add charm and history to the space. Notably, the bar’s striking red gum posts were repurposed from the old Seppelts Great Western train station, while the feature walls and bar were crafted from Pomonal-sourced hardwood.

In August 2017, Adam and Pep planted their 3-acre vineyard, comprising Shiraz (2 acres) and Riesling (1 acre), as well as a cider orchard. Today, their wines are crafted in partnership with award-winning winemakers Adam Louder (Mt Langi Ghiran) and Leigh Clarnette (Clarnette Wines), while their ciders are produced by Harcourt Cider.
