As part of the Grampians Fine Wine Festival this October, Black & Ginger Wines are teaming up with The Bunyip Hotel in Cavendish to bring you a food and wine experience that will knock your socks off. The background:
Black & Ginger is a small batch wine producer, a brand that pushes the Grampians wine region to its limits. They experiment with local and European varieties, methods and styles to give you something different.      The Bunyip Hotel in Cavendish has been operating since the 1840’s and is currently under the creative direction of head chef James Campbell. The aim is to deliver delicious locally grown meals in a true country pub environment. Some of the local produce is grown in their own gardens and some even comes from the gardens of the local Cavendish residents. A Taste of Europe in Western Victoria degustation dinner will be a combination of European inspired dishes created using locally gown ingredients paired with Black & Ginger wines produced from European varietals all grown in Victoria. It will feature several alternative wine varietals including Vermentino, Gewürztraminer and Nebbiolo which have all recently scored in the 90’s in the 2024 Halliday Wine Companion.
